Becoming a Professional

When you watch this video that was taken from the news you will see how important it is to be a professional. The words that are stated as testimony from the mother and father in this case are really stated by professional interpreters. They must reflect exactly what the person states. That requires several tools that you already have in your "toolbox". You have to learn how to use them and also how to select your tools wisely so that you are proficient in your job.

Your "toolbox"

  • Note taking skills

I can help you evaluate your note taking skills and develop a way for you to take notes that are helpful for YOU.

  • Memory usage

I can show you how to get the most out of your memory and effectively go back in time to interpret more accurately.

  • Listening as you talk, or talking as you listen?

Master simultaneous interpretation and you will reduce fatigue and increase performance.

Why use a coach

Future Plans

CLE credits

Many of us know that continued education credits are a necessary part of maintaining certification and are always looking for better and more efficient ways to comply with these requirements. We are looking forward to qualifying for CLE credits for Interpreters in the different courts across the US and will keep you posted on our progress to that end.

Members Area

We will be soon adding a members area where interpreters from all over and in several languages can share common concerns and even language specific forums for helping with difficult translations or interpretations. This section will also include notifications of upcoming trainings as well as other helpful tips.
